Can't see it. They'll be able to talk about it for months, then whatever punishment they can analyse, then the juggernaut just moves on to whomever takes the mantle as best (should City get relegated). Football fans will just move on.

The tone in the football press today is odd. Like everyone didn't know City had fiddled the books. Just treat it like Juventus when caught bribing refs. Strip all titles, have no winner listed, relegate them several divisions, massive fine. Increase the punishment if they appeal and lose.
