Being positive and loving❤️

This is what a well written and beautifully delivered response looks like. And every country should start doing the same

Completely free btw. This NAS paid for itself just with this support case.

I’m so happy for Synology support. After replacing my NAS power brick, my entire RAID was in a catastrophic failure state. Synology support was able to assist me in recovering 100% of my irreplaceable data (personal photos and videos, documents…) 99% of important data and 67% of all data I had there

NAS power failure is so sad. Multiple disk warnings during the night, woke up to a dead nas. Now I don’t know if any disk is actually corrupted, have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement power strip 😭

Screenshot showing multiple emails during the night informing of disk warnings

Seeing this all over NE was the craziest thing from living there. Who is so rich that they decorates the streets with actual food??

Yeah, it is expensive, but SO worth it! And you can expand capacity as you go. Keep a fast SSD for ongoing projects, though. Culling and edoting straight from the NAS is not great 😬

Honestly, get a NAS. Any one. Best thing I've done for my photo storage, infinitely upgradable, no need to transfer stuff from old drive to new drive. You can setup automatic backup routines (i backup to a hot storage cloud service every day). Easy pick is a Synology, but really, any will do!
