Gotta be honest. I really despise how every time there's an update on my phone or PC, I have to go in and manually disable all the AI bullshit being forced down our throats. Microsoft, Samsung, and Google are so desperate for us to use AI so they can harvest our data for more profit. Fuck that.

One of the things that's most frustrating about having an "invisible" disability like ME/CFS is the judgment I get from others. I "look" fine, but you can't see I'm masking my pain and fatigue. You can't see the despair of being unable to do the simple things I used to. I "look" fine, but I'm not.

As a non-smoker with asthma, I never expected one of my favorite anime of this past season to be about a couple of smokers hanging out behind a supermarket. Still can't stand smoking, but I love the hopeless idiots and their slow-burn slice-of-life age gap romance.

Okay. Honestly wasn't expecting the end of season 3 of Ascendance of a Bookworm to make me a sobbing mess. I guess separation from family is a rough trope for me. Sometimes the best thing for members of a family is to part ways. But that doesn't make the separation any easier.

As near as I can tell, my dialect is basically "city" and "not rural or Southern" based on this map.

My husband and I went out to the Valley of Fire State Park in NV to explore a few years back. I was captivated by the beauty of the natural landscape and rock formations, which felt otherworldly. I hope to visit again, but won't be able to do so until food and fuel are affordable. #IranWar

Every now and again, I think back to when I graduated high school. I was making $8.25 with no real experience ($16.54 in 2026 dollars) and my one-bedroom apartment ran me $425.00 ($851.83 in 2026 dollars.) Average wage today for someone with no experience? ~$9.50/hr. That apartment is still $900+

Ww watched 'The Long Walk' last night. I can honestly say it's one of the rare S-Tier King adaptations. Beautiful cinematography, great acting, great pacing, and the changes from the novella stayed true to the heart of the story.

I feel like I'm too mentally immature to "dress my age." I have a strong aversion to blazers, "high-fashion" shoes that just look painful or ugly, embroidered blouses, etc. Looks like stuff my grandma wore in the 90's. Guess I'll always be that weirdo in t-shirts and cargo pants. 🤷‍♀️
