I had arranged lunch with a friend today, only to realise we hadn’t seen each other in person since 2019! Needless to say, the hours passed and we eventually left out of guilt for the restaurant staff who were probably fed up of us 😂 Anyway, it’s lovely to know we could pick up where we left off ❤️

My niece designed my latest cross stitch pattern for me. I followed it exactly and gave the finished creation to her earlier this week ❤️

I’ve seen a few people posting about energy drinks this week. I’ve been drinking stuff by this company for ~2 years now & they’ve just expanded their range. Some of it is too sweet for my taste, but this is on the lower end & the Juicy Peach flavour is my fave. Also do flavoured lattes. (Not an ad!)

Funny, I got my husband to take this photo a few days ago as I couldn’t stop admiring the way the sea and sky continued onto the back cover.

May I share the best photo of a goat that I’ve ever taken? From 2022 at Chatsworth estate.

A goat behind a gate. Its mouth is slightly over the rail of the gate, with some of its beard hanging over the edge. Its bottom teeth are sticking out and its eyes are slightly far apart, giving it a rather empty-headed appearance.

Tonight’s birthday boy (husband, 42) likes chocolate cake. Chocolate cake is unsafe for dogs, so despite being a chocolate Labrador the dog didn’t get any birthday cake this time. He is Not Happy. He’s displaying his displeasure by lying in the middle of the room Not Looking at anyone.

I honestly think the @noscoredraws.com 2026 World Cup wall chart might be one of the worst things I’ve ever bought. It’s absolutely ridiculous. And I suggested the two Scotland players to be included which I feel is a personal low moment.

I had a lovely Mother’s Day, although it was difficult being the first one since my beautiful Mum-in-Law died. I mostly got peace from my teenagers, but the dog got me flowers. Smashing ❤️
