part of the appeal for me, which others have alluded to, is exploration as a new resident vs a tourist. regular dungeons are typically never revisited once cleared. in a mega dungeon, like moving to a new city, players will carve out their spots. they'll notice changes to them. i think that's cool

for sure. a lot of folk emphasizes harmony+melody over percussion, so the guitar skews more noodly. even rock, which is more percussive, the rhythm guitar is just hanging out with the groove while providing a majority (or all of) the harmony. the sauce to the noodles, if u will
