My favourite Jane Goodall quotes....so many, so to the point, so wise. How different the world would be if enough people listened to her.
"People think hope is wishful thinking, and actually hope is about action." Quote from the Wiser Than Me podcast with Julia Louis-Dreyfus."Only when our clever brain and our human heart work together in harmony can we achieve our true potential." Graphic by the Jane Goodall Institute of South Africa."You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." Graphic by Ariana Huffington on Instagram.

I may have found my defining quote. Pair this with my pinned post and you will see what I mean!
From a poster called “just shower thoughts“ reading: when people talk about traveling to the past, they worry about radically, changing the present by doing something small, barely anyone in the present to really thinks that they can radically change the future by doing something small.

When you cover a field in solar panels, you don’t cover everything. And in a warming world, that leftover shaded space is invaluable, says @billmckibben.bsky.social.

Tuvalu’s climate visa isn’t migration—it’s survival. 40% of the nation has applied to leave, forced by rising seas driven by fossil fuels. This is climate injustice. We demand real solutions, not lifeboats. Justice means the right to stay. Read More: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

"Representing over a million workers." How much more evidence does the Government need that these issues really matter to people in every walk of life, all over the country? And that climate and nature is about much more than "hugging trees". It's also jobs, it's green growth, it's the future.

Last year, Pakistan installed an incredible 22GW of solar—more than Canada has ever built! Pakistan initially committed to slash emissions 20% by 2030. But in 2021, it upped that commitment to 50%, as it's a win-win: switching to clean energy addresses poverty too. Read more:
