for some reason Y sorting wasn't working so had to fix that. y-sorting is the feature that basicall means your sprite moves infront of another you cover it, but if you move behind it covers you #Godot #IndieGameDev

I got to the point where I was confusing myself with how some objects interacts together. So I added a debug mode: hover to see bare meshes, click to log coordinates & identify the object. Not much gameplay yet, but thought to share. #GameDev #DevLog #ProceduralGeneration

got the animation skeleton basically sorted it takes into account which tool you have equipped and shows the correct one (ignore the icons dont match the tools) the same system can be used for clothes when ever i get around to it, but that will be far down the line #Godot #IndieGameDev
