Started October with apple picking today. There were goats! And possibly the best still-warm cider donuts I've ever had. Now to collapse on the couch with a horror movie and some ibuprofen like the spooky old lady I am.

One thing I really love about Jane Schoenbrun's films is how much they make me feel *seen*. As a queer kid who escaped into media until I could get out of my homophobic hometown, I Saw the TV Glow wrecked me. Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma left me feeling hopeful and loved as a horror girlie.
