I did not have dealing with Tree of Heaven removal on my bingo card this weekend. It's so much fun! This is what happens when your kid buys a new house and the old owners cuts it all down to the stump but does no real removal. Three months later those stumps are small trees.

8 years ago I planted butterfly weed, a beautiful orange milkweed which I monitor yearly for monarch caterpillars. Once they were established, we had a year with over 50, followed by years with none or just a few. This year is turning out to be spectacular with easily over 20 so far.

I watch Netflix while I work out. I’ve been streaming Veronica Mars which came out in the early 2000s. On the final episode of season 2, Veronica and her dad discuss an upcoming trip to NYC. Veronica states that she is going to bring pepper spray in case she runs into that Trump guy. Nailed it!
