Had a fun local 5k yesterday in the rain. Was able to thank everyone yhat volunteered & finished with a smile on my face. Also, there were hotdogs at the end. #YoureDoingGreat

I know it’s something silly. I know it’s rage bait. But this just bothers me. I was happy that Apple Maps did not change it immediately but come on man.

Apple maps from Wednesday and Sunday, respectively. They are focused on lake north of Rochester, New York, and east of Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario. On Wednesday The lake was labeled “Lake Ontario”. On Sunday morning it is labeled “Lake America”.

I think it might be nice enough outside to do some speed workouts. 800 m repeats with a goal of getting fast faster in the 5K so that I can finish an ultra marathon hard. This will also have the benefit of increasing my general pace. Love the idea of being faster in my 50s than my 30s. #RunSky

While getting this shot, my GoPro fell over. The camera survived, but the 3-in-1 Mini Tripod did not. For the five plus years that I’ve had this camera, more often than not, that tripod has been doing the bulk of the work. It is an excellent product and it will be missed.

I voted yesterday. I ran on Rt 142 in the Town of Brunswick, New York. Cars are going very fast and there was no shoulder. It goes about saying that there were not sidewalks. However, that was the early voting location in my town. Not pedestrian accessible.
