Walmart so far has received $2.9 billion in tariff refunds. Apple so far has received $2.2 billion in tariff refunds. Target so far has received over $990 million in tariff refunds. The list goes on. We don't have two political parties in the US. The party in power is a criminal enterprise.

My $0.02, but I think every medical professional who was associated with Christa Pike's botched death this week should have board certifications revoked. It's harder to take a license because those are controlled by the state, but there really ought to be professional consequences at bare minimum.

There should be a checkbox on dating web sites that you can filter search results by that is simply "in therapy: yes or no?" It would save so many ladies I know so much time. You know I'm right.

I'm not saying we're doomed, but I am saying that the November 3 election is officially compromised at this point with today's Supreme Court ruling. There's almost zero chance that there won't be disenfranchisement of legit voters in red states.

I did not expect that 2 games into the season this time, the Steelers and Browns would not only have the same record, but the Browns scored as many points today alone as the Steelers scored in both games. 😮‍💨🙄

It's sort of crazy living through two of the biggest foreign policy blunders of the last 20 years both of which Israel holds a lot of responsibility for (Iran and Gaza). Israel could have made their October 7 a international response that gave them security and also genuinely helped Gazans, but nope

I think that if it winds up human history ends with us stupid monkeys (shut up) giving enough resources to the worst among us to straight up race each other to build an actual species-destroying Doomsday machine, maybe us apes just climbed the wrong evolutionary tree and it's the cephalopods' turn.

Jared Kushner is not "on the other side of the aisle." He's not an elected official. He's not an administration official. He's the president's son-in-law and a private citizen. You do not, in fact, have to take meetings with relatives of the president. Some might even say you should *not* do that

The Trump regime blew up the rail bridge up ahead but on November 3 we can collectively put on the brakes and stop the train we're on before we go off the rails. On the other hand, people in Missouri don't even know what district they live in or who they can vote for in less than 60d. I'm worried.

@democrats.org If Trump's approval rating today is 38% and the Democratic Party's approval is at 40% then maybe people are looking for more from the only organized political opposition available than what they're getting right now. More could be done.

I wonder why it is that Trump wants to put "renovated and restored by Donald Trump" on the Kennedy Center for which neither of those have been done, but doesn't seem to want his name associated with the Reflecting Pool which he actually had a big hand in (well, insofar as his hands are ever "big.")🤔

Yard sign with large text that reads, "New endless war, measles deaths, everything expensive, masked agents. Time for change."Yard sign with large text that reads, "My country went to war with Iran and all I got was poorer."Yard sign with large text that reads, "Nobody likes him. Everybody hates him. Guess we'll just eat (screw) worms."Yard sign with large text that reads, "Does anyone actually think Democrats didn't rig 2016, did rig 2020, then didn't rig 2024?"

The fundamental breakdown in American democracy happened, in my mind, when the Republican party figured out that there were only two viable national political factions and so if they could stay large enough to win while purifying their ranks, it would cause chaos for the only other remaining party.

The Kushner thing is such a crazy obvious misstep for Jeffries and it makes him not look ready for primetime. If that whole thing wasn't orchestrated to weaken Jeffries, I'll eat my hat. It was a meeting removed enough from Trump so that it couldn't hurt him, but leaking alone hurts Jeffries. Trap.

When history is written of this time long from now, much ink will be spilled over China's investment in pulling energy from the sun, air, and water as the US sourced its energy from its own ground. Eventually, China will use enough domestic renewables to sell all their mined resources then what?

Personally, I'm perfectly fine with all 2026 Democratic Senate candidates being a little quiet on court reform...for now. But it wouldn't hurt to start laying groundwork because in 2028 if you're not talking about adding justices to the Supreme Court, you don't deserve to be president.
