I’ve been playing around with only using Ableton’s stock 8 band EQ to cut frequencies, and Ozone’s Vintage EQ to boost frequencies in my tracks. I find that I deal with a lot less harshness, and my mixes translate a lot smoother by using a more “analog” style EQ plugin for boosting.

Mechanic idea for all the survival horror game devs out there: If you aren’t careful during battles, your character can develop a knee injury. If this happens you move slower, take more damage, and the control style switches to ps1 tank controls until you figure out a way to heal your injury.

Happy MAR10 day. Here’s a throwback to 10 years ago when I found the midi transcriptions for a bunch of songs from old N64 Mario OSTs. I took this one from Paper Mario and ran it through some Omnisphere presets and thought “yup, this is worth posting at 2 AM.”. Pretentious 20 y/o Evan activity.
