i love the lack of immediacy when it comes to film... i just took a lot of photos today at the botanical garden and i cannot post them :) i will eventually be reminded of this day in history once they're developed and maybe a few of them will be nice enough to post. who can say !!

Picked up an arcade cab this week that’s running a Sega Naomi! Excited to get this going but sadly the monitor isn’t working. Ay thoughts on what it might need based on this clicking sound? #SegaNaomi #Arcaden

I screamed! You couldn't get me to blink during the Metroid Ravenous reveal today! Easily the most excited I've been in a long time for a Nintendo game! I can't wait to see where the story goes. I hope it has different paths and consequences for your actions <3 The music rips too ✨

People keep talking about how much this looks like the Unreal demos people have cooked up over the years, but this has an art direction and attention to detail not found elsewhere 🍃 (aside from the Ember Lab short film 🌝) I'm stoked! Sign me up! Cosplays of these new fits are gonna go hard too!

I've been listening to the soundtrack for Angeline Era nearly every day for the past two weeks since hearing @nitrorad.bsky.social talk about it in his latest video! It's so comforting, takes me back to the PS1 era of RPGs that I wish I could live in. Can't wait to play on Switch soon

After having a delightful chat about Zelda with @ziondood.bsky.social (and Alex ofc) I am currently fighting the urge to play Ocarina of Time again or just having a Zelda binge. I think it'll be my new weekend game. It's about time for a replay. youtu.be/2B9GWH5BfnI

I’ve felt weird talking about it cuz I’m just a freelancer, I’ve written various versions of this post before deleting But I’ve also been affected by the commerce layoffs at GameSpot and, as always, could use more work. I still have some time for appts during SDCC, and for reviews, previews etc.

There's always been something special about holding a game in your hands. A lot of us here first experienced our favorite games through glancing at the box art, scanning the writeup on the back cover, or flipping through the manual.
