Jane was such an inspiration to me and so many who work on protecting our planet and animals from harms. And such a champion for chimpanzees and others. I only saw her live once, but I won’t forget. It’s a terrible loss, and she will be sorely missed, but what an amazing life to have lived.

Due Process is a Constitutional Right: Every person, regardless of immigration status, has the right to a fair hearing, access to legal counsel, and protection from arbitrary detention. Denying these rights puts all our freedoms at risk. Without core constitutional protections, none of us are safe.

She is a mom, a worker, an asylum seeker. They shattered her car window. They cuffed her in front of her daughter. They accused her of being a gang member to justify their fascism.
