Gentle reminder that it's always ok to say to an artist you asked for commission their price are in fact out of range for YOU. But please don't ghost or tell them it's too pricey, even worse harrass or belittle them, art is a luxury and most of us are in fact underselling ourselves.

CSP being pressed to take even just /kissing/ off their asset store and FA being told that plus sized characters are considered adult should be a giant waving red flag to folks. Sex workers have /always/ been right to say these policies never stop with 1 type of content. They always wanna ban more.

The Trickster King 🃏 As Above: Legend of the Trickster’s Pass Ep1: A Fool’s Errand An illustrated audio drama made by me!! Please share to help a small artist!! Link below 👇 #fantasyart #audiobook #fantasy #noAI #AsAbove_LotTP #AsAbove

A man stands with one hand out stretched, wearing a colorful mantle of diamond patterns and ornaments. His long blond hair blows in the wind along with the mantle’s fringe. His smile is unnaturally wide and a diamond patterned mask covers his right eye. The base of his throat shows a shattered pattern with a light blue/teal light shining through. In the back is a mountain range, starry night sky with a crescent moon, and planetary rings. The title of the drama is in the center right with credit to me as creator beneath it

Description
In a world where the gods control the Parallel Gates that connect all the realms together, uniting life, travel, and trade, there is no one more powerful than the God of the Second Star, King Meska’gais, who crafted and watched over these Gates for as long as history can remember.

Now, something has arisen that threatens even him.

But beyond everyone’s understanding, beyond the demands of the realms, hidden dangers, and his own kin… Meska’gais has set his sights on a simple thief that doesn’t even know how to read.

Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

A quick version of Ishtar's ref sheet, an NSR OC. Both the left & right sides showcase the same two images of Ishtar in their human & alien form, with slight changes to the gradient colors on their hair & alien form's tail/hands/horns/fins/tendrils, with the left side being labeled as their day colors vs the right side being night colors.
The top shows them with clothes, the bottom without.

Their human form is an olive skin tone vs their full alien form, which is a darker pinkish hue with areas that are purple (such as their tail, forearms/calves), & space like gradient patterns on their forearms/calves/tail/ears. Their hair color is an ombre, with it being purple/pink/orange/gold/white for day palette, & purple/pink/light pink/white for their night palette. They have pink eyes with heart like markings, alien form having additional star like features. They also have piercings: double lobe, left industrial, snake bites, & a nostril piercing on each side.

Their performance gear consists of a latex body suit, thigh high boots & gloves, along with a witch hat.
The witch hat has a moon & star of venus pendant adorning the top, & astrology symbols on the brim with a space-like gradient pattern for the interior.
The body suit has pink accents, along with pink/gold moon accessories adorned with a star of ishtar, which connects the hip accessories that resemble solar rays that protrude out from the hips.
The gloves have zodiac symbols on them, as well as accents along the upper arm & wrist (with a pink/gold/indigo gradient), & the boots have accent lines that come to a heart at the bottom, along with shooting star-like heels that are of a similar gradient as the rest of the accents on their outfit.
All accents featured on the outfit glow.

The background of the ref sheet has a sun symbol on the left side, a moon on the right, & space-like patterns behind Ishtar, along with neon accents on the border of the ref sheet.

An image with the words “Let your followers tell you one thing they like about your OC.” In black letters. Underneath is a red arrow pointing to the left.

So, a few GFM updates: The gist is that while the first part of the move is out the way, things still aren't in the clear-explained in screencaps Any shares/donations help immensely--it'd be appreciated if you could share 🌟 www.gofundme.com/f/help-a-que... #helpsky #fundsky #mutualaid #gofundme

A screencap showcasing the header of the gofundme page. The cover photo for the gofundme is a purple to pink space background, illustrated by myself, & the title of the gofundme reads: Help a queer disabled artist in leaving Texas (see updates!).

There is also an icon for the gofundme account showing my sona's face in it, in addition to my name next to it, "Nyx-Ishtar Celis"

It's been a while since my last update--Time really flies by huh? Anyway, hi. I'm back to give a few more updates on the current situation, since I figure it's about time I offer some sort of update post in relation to the move itself.

I've probably mentioned it on my social media profiles already... But the gist is that I've fully moved out of Texas, and unfortunately did have to move whilst being very far from my funding goal, even though the person I trust who is a roommate did help somewhat with some expenses. Things were... chaotic to say the least, and between me falling sick the week of departure, falling sick the week after arriving, dealing with a lot of heavy emotional things that have come up now that I've gotten out of the environment I was in, dealing with OTHER heavy emotional things on top of that, and trying to somehow navigate job hunting along with other life responsibilities...

Well, I've been... mostly off the radar when it comes to my public accounts and public servers due to that. Its only up until now that I've even had the chance to say anything, because things have been all over the place and trying to navigate essentially starting my life over with very little support has been hectic to say the least.

But I am settled down in a temporary housing situation for the moment- Although the clock is ticking, since I have to try to somehow find a job, accumulate enough funds / resources, and finally move into our own place together as the second part of this whole move process... Since I only have so much time I'm allowed here, based on what was agreed upon for the temporary housing agreement. Not the best circumstance, but it's better than nothing.

So far, I haven't had much luck with job searching, on top of the fact that the funds I have left (after using up quite a bit for the first part of the move) are dwindling due to the debts family left me in that aren't even mine (but unfortunately are under my name/card).

In addition, I haven't had any luck whatsoever in my own tablet situation, so I am unfortunately incapable of offering commissions to try to offset the financial blow I'm taking monthly (which is about $500-600 already). It's also been a struggle to keep up with all of this as there's been other important expenses that had to be made as part of the move that dwindled some of the resources further, and well...

Due to this, it does leave me in a bit of a bind for the second part of the move, since roommate and I can't initiate that part of the move without sufficient funds.

Obviously, I'm still trying to find a job and hoping I find something soon, but until then I am still reaching back out here again to ask, urge if necessary, that this be shared around and if possible, that people donate. A good chunk of the funds I had were ones I had to raise solo via pushing myself to my limits in my last job, but without a job I'm not able to build up more of what's needed to keep up with both the debts I had thrust upon me (due to how much its eating my resources up) as well as have enough of a financial net for the second part of the move, and furthermore keep up with any unforeseen expenses that may come up as well. If people are able to donate it would be of immense help for myself as well as my roommate, since it's been hard trying to scramble together the full funding for all of this, especially to ensure that I don't end up getting shot right back to the environment I came from that I wasn't going to survive in.

I do appreciate those who have donated already, as always- and again, I really ask that if you can't donate, then to at least share this so it has the possibility of reaching people who would be able to lend a hand somewhere. It's really the least I can ask that people do and even an action that small is immensely helpful, and I also want to thank people who have previously shared the gofundme as well- I deeply appreciate it a lot.
