A quick version of Ishtar's ref sheet, an NSR OC. Both the left & right sides showcase the same two images of Ishtar in their human & alien form, with slight changes to the gradient colors on their hair & alien form's tail/hands/horns/fins/tendrils, with the left side being labeled as their day colors vs the right side being night colors.
The top shows them with clothes, the bottom without.

Their human form is an olive skin tone vs their full alien form, which is a darker pinkish hue with areas that are purple (such as their tail, forearms/calves), & space like gradient patterns on their forearms/calves/tail/ears. Their hair color is an ombre, with it being purple/pink/orange/gold/white for day palette, & purple/pink/light pink/white for their night palette. They have pink eyes with heart like markings, alien form having additional star like features. They also have piercings: double lobe, left industrial, snake bites, & a nostril piercing on each side.

Their performance gear consists of a latex body suit, thigh high boots & gloves, along with a witch hat.
The witch hat has a moon & star of venus pendant adorning the top, & astrology symbols on the brim with a space-like gradient pattern for the interior.
The body suit has pink accents, along with pink/gold moon accessories adorned with a star of ishtar, which connects the hip accessories that resemble solar rays that protrude out from the hips.
The gloves have zodiac symbols on them, as well as accents along the upper arm & wrist (with a pink/gold/indigo gradient), & the boots have accent lines that come to a heart at the bottom, along with shooting star-like heels that are of a similar gradient as the rest of the accents on their outfit.
All accents featured on the outfit glow.

The background of the ref sheet has a sun symbol on the left side, a moon on the right, & space-like patterns behind Ishtar, along with neon accents on the border of the ref sheet.

An image with the words “Let your followers tell you one thing they like about your OC.” In black letters. Underneath is a red arrow pointing to the left.

So, a few GFM updates: The gist is that while the first part of the move is out the way, things still aren't in the clear-explained in screencaps Any shares/donations help immensely--it'd be appreciated if you could share 🌟 www.gofundme.com/f/help-a-que... #helpsky #fundsky #mutualaid #gofundme

A screencap showcasing the header of the gofundme page. The cover photo for the gofundme is a purple to pink space background, illustrated by myself, & the title of the gofundme reads: Help a queer disabled artist in leaving Texas (see updates!).

There is also an icon for the gofundme account showing my sona's face in it, in addition to my name next to it, "Nyx-Ishtar Celis"

It's been a while since my last update--Time really flies by huh? Anyway, hi. I'm back to give a few more updates on the current situation, since I figure it's about time I offer some sort of update post in relation to the move itself.

I've probably mentioned it on my social media profiles already... But the gist is that I've fully moved out of Texas, and unfortunately did have to move whilst being very far from my funding goal, even though the person I trust who is a roommate did help somewhat with some expenses. Things were... chaotic to say the least, and between me falling sick the week of departure, falling sick the week after arriving, dealing with a lot of heavy emotional things that have come up now that I've gotten out of the environment I was in, dealing with OTHER heavy emotional things on top of that, and trying to somehow navigate job hunting along with other life responsibilities...

Well, I've been... mostly off the radar when it comes to my public accounts and public servers due to that. Its only up until now that I've even had the chance to say anything, because things have been all over the place and trying to navigate essentially starting my life over with very little support has been hectic to say the least.

But I am settled down in a temporary housing situation for the moment- Although the clock is ticking, since I have to try to somehow find a job, accumulate enough funds / resources, and finally move into our own place together as the second part of this whole move process... Since I only have so much time I'm allowed here, based on what was agreed upon for the temporary housing agreement. Not the best circumstance, but it's better than nothing.

So far, I haven't had much luck with job searching, on top of the fact that the funds I have left (after using up quite a bit for the first part of the move) are dwindling due to the debts family left me in that aren't even mine (but unfortunately are under my name/card).

In addition, I haven't had any luck whatsoever in my own tablet situation, so I am unfortunately incapable of offering commissions to try to offset the financial blow I'm taking monthly (which is about $500-600 already). It's also been a struggle to keep up with all of this as there's been other important expenses that had to be made as part of the move that dwindled some of the resources further, and well...

Due to this, it does leave me in a bit of a bind for the second part of the move, since roommate and I can't initiate that part of the move without sufficient funds.

Obviously, I'm still trying to find a job and hoping I find something soon, but until then I am still reaching back out here again to ask, urge if necessary, that this be shared around and if possible, that people donate. A good chunk of the funds I had were ones I had to raise solo via pushing myself to my limits in my last job, but without a job I'm not able to build up more of what's needed to keep up with both the debts I had thrust upon me (due to how much its eating my resources up) as well as have enough of a financial net for the second part of the move, and furthermore keep up with any unforeseen expenses that may come up as well. If people are able to donate it would be of immense help for myself as well as my roommate, since it's been hard trying to scramble together the full funding for all of this, especially to ensure that I don't end up getting shot right back to the environment I came from that I wasn't going to survive in.

I do appreciate those who have donated already, as always- and again, I really ask that if you can't donate, then to at least share this so it has the possibility of reaching people who would be able to lend a hand somewhere. It's really the least I can ask that people do and even an action that small is immensely helpful, and I also want to thank people who have previously shared the gofundme as well- I deeply appreciate it a lot.

[ 2025 #art / #ocsky / #OC:IshtarCelis ] Realized I hadn't posted Ishtar's updated quick ref for their #NSR verse! Fitting to post on NSR's anniversary I'll finish the in depth ref sheet one day when I have a tablet... [ #nostraightroads / #nostraightroadsoc / #NSROC ] ✨⬇️ More refs in thread ⬇️✨

A quick version of Ishtar's ref sheet, an NSR OC. The image is the same as the previous one in the thread, with the one exception being that Ishtar's skin tone in their alien form here matches their human form's skin tone- which indicative of them not being 100 percent in their full alien form.

A quick version of Ishtar's ref sheet, an NSR OC. The ref sheet here showcases the back view of Ishtar's outfit when they wear it, for both their human form & full alien form. The latex body suit reveals a good portion of their backside, both upper back (which is adorned with star-like freckles) & some of their rear end.

Their alien form shows that the latex suit can modify itself (through more magical means) to allow their tail through, & there are more details visible of their witch hat as well. The heels they wear also show more details of the shooting star that adorns them, the shooting star being the heel instead of a traditional stiletto heel.

There is also a visible heart on the back of the neckpiece of their outfit, & in their alien form there are some tendrils that protrude from their spine along their upper back as well, similar to those on the base of their tail.

A screenshot with a quick info paragraph on the NSR OC, Ishtar Celis.

The text reads:

Ishtar | Full name: Nyx-Ishtar Celis

NSR verse(s) info: An alien musician raised in Veracruz, Mexico, whose made significant strides in the EDM scene despite the cards initially being stacked against them, making a name for themselves especially in the trance/psytrance scene. Combining their interests in the occult & music would bring about a unique flair to their own sound they’d create—the avenue through which they’d express themselves, & as such they’ve come a long way throughout the years as a musician from back in Mexico all the way to their status now as a charter in Vinyl City. Despite everything they’ve endured, despite being victim to the sheer corruption & dark sides of the industry & the downsides of fame they still face, they’ve persevered, continuing to pursue their passions through which they truly come alive. Having risen above the several hardships & circumstances they were dealt, in they end they’ve attained the position they are in now… Albeit such a journey has, unfortunately, made them wall themselves off—becoming distrusting of most. Despite the generally lighthearted & at times flirty disposition they uphold to those who don’t know them well, such a persona is merely just the surface—for there’s another side to them that’s much more personal, vulnerable—a more passionate & intense side that only those who get to know them start to really see.

Reason I'm making a more in depth ref sheet is bc they have... Details I usually have to elaborate on to people so, that sheet will have more in depths of that For now here's additional refs✨ Edition w/o clothes to show markings- though some of this is PROBABLY not final??? But, still worth showing

A quick version of Ishtar's ref sheet, an NSR OC. The ref sheet here features Ishtar without their clothing (save for undergarments), primarily to show details that are hidden by their performance gear (shown in the thread above), such as their chest & thigh tattoos, as well as the star-like freckles on their shoulders & collar, & the part of their body where the space gradients begin (for their alien form).
The background of the ref sheet has a sun symbol on the left side, a moon on the right, & space-like patterns behind Ishtar, along with neon accents on the border of the ref sheet.

Both the left & right sides showcase the same two images of Ishtar in their human & alien form, with slight changes to the gradient colors on their hair & alien form's tail/hands/horns/fins/tendrils, with the left side being labeled as their day colors vs the right side being night colors.

Their human form is an olive skin tone vs their alien form, which is a darker pinkish hue with areas that are purple (such as their tail, forearms/calves), & space like gradient patterns on their forearms/calves/tail/ears.

The ref sheet here showcases the back view of Ishtar without their clothing (save for undergarments), primarily to show the markings & other features that are visible on their back (such as the star-like freckles along the back of their shoulders & spine, as well as the lower back tattoos & the other part of the thigh tattoo not visible in their front view).

The ref also shows more of the details regarding the back of Ishtar's tail in their alien form as well.

+ Closeup image to showcase more details ✨ (cause bsky image quality is 💀) Adding on- there's a few variants to theim, which will be shown in the more detailed ref sheet when released! But the third image is a preview to include some of that (with the one alt hair palette applying to all forms)

An image featuring close-up shots of the NSR OC, Ishtar Celis, taken from their quick reference sheet. The close-up shots here feature them in their performance gear & showcase the differences between the forms that were shown in the previous references in the thread, including both the day & night palette variants.

The close-up shots here feature them them without their clothes & just undergarments, & showcase the differences between the forms that were shown in the previous references in the thread, including both the day & night palette variants.

A WIP screenshot showcasing some alternate iterations of Ishtar's human form, with text describing the context of that iteration of them & the palette.

The one on the left showcases their "blacklight human" form, a palette that shows up for Ishtar in their human form in certain settings (under blacklights, certain darker settings, or even of their own volition if they choose). The skin tone & coloration mirrors that of their full alien form, even if most alien features are not present. The text under the ref reads "blacklight human form (can be used with)" & cuts off there.

The one on the right showcases their human form, but with a purple to pink to cyan to white gradient in their hair. This is the coloration their hair changes to (regardless if in human or alien form) when under serious distress (anger/sadness/etc), & even the text under them reads "Distressed (Note: star trail highlights become dimmer & if anything can even be omitted"

Their human form is an olive skin tone vs their alien form, which is a darker pinkish hue with areas that are purple (such as their tail, forearms/calves), & space like gradient patterns on their forearms/calves/tail/ears.

A polaroid illustration depicting the two OCs, Ishtar & KK, posing for the camera & smiling as part of a birthday celebration. KK, wearing a neon green shirt, a blue party hat with gold stars & a scorpio symbol, silver earrings & bracelet, pink shades, is making a peace sign at the camera, his other arm reaching over to pull Ishtar close to him. Ishtar can be seen with a black jacket with glowing yellow accents & a sparkling pink tube top, along with snake bites & ear piercings.
There is text on the bottom that reads "28th Solar Return!", & there are stickers across the polaroid depicting stars, & a scorpio symbol at the very bottom center.
(This edition of the drawing has a subtle noise filter over it)

6 doodles featuring Ishtar, an NSR OC, for a blush meter meme. At 0%, they're making a peace sign towards the viewer. At 20%, they appear to be laughing, a faint blush visible on their face. At 40% they have a more visible blush & are avoiding eye contact with a more bashful smile, a finger twirling a strand of hair. At 60%, their blush is more prominent, & they have a hand behind their neck & are looking away from the viewer almost nervously, their ears fluttering slightly. At 80%, their blush is deeper as they're looking down, ears fluttering more & a hand brought up to the lower half of their face to cover their mouth. At 100%, they have a deep blush, ears fluttering a lot more rapidly while they hide their face behind their hands.
In each of the percentages, the glow of their star-like freckles becomes a bit more prominent as the percentage increases.

An illustration featuring two NSR OCs, KK & Ishtar, celebrating the New Year on a balcony at night.
KK is on the left, smiling at Ishtar with two sparklers in one hand, & a hand behind Ishtar's near the star between them. He is wearing the two bracelets Ishtar gave him, glowstick bracelets on another arm, a black jacket with neon green star accents, pink shades, a blue star themed shirt, & jeans with stars on one of the legs. There is also a party hat on his head, one on each ear, & one on his nose.
On the right is Ishtar smiling back at him, holding two sparklers in one hand, & using their magic with another to form a star between them. They are wearing their glasses, one bracelet on each wrist from KK, & a low cut sequin red dress with a rose & chain accessory at the center, cut outs on the sides of the hips, mars symbol hip accessories attached to the dress, & thin gold chains across their chest & hips. They also have a glowy 2025 themed headband on their head.

do NOT look up ex-friends/ex-mutuals/etc to see how they are doing. it's just going to mess with your mental health, no matter if they're doing good or not. i have to remind myself of this bc of a very traumatic experience i had with some famous internet people years ago. it's just not worth it 😫
