It doesn't seem that the Cathlic Church using its self-proclaimed spiritual authority to *bind* ppl with the penalty of eternal spiritual annihilation if they don't show up on Sunday is very "Day of Rest"-y type behavior.
This is about the Cathlic rule to go to church on *Sunday* "bc they said so."
