Given how much I hate Control Resonant, I had to go back to the original tonight and know if my memories were wrong. No. Control is still That Game. In every way.

So it looks like after my travel expenses and with my bills, I’m coming up $250 short for this month that I need to pay by Friday. I really don’t expect that asking the internet to help a girl out with $250 in two days is realistic.

Finished Control Resonant. I think I really hate it. A complete letdown from the original, devoid of any new tricks and packing some of the most frustrating combat and platforming I've seen in an action game. One of the first games I truly regret buying in a while.

I've been ruminating on PAC/Neville as a performer for the last few hours, and he's a high so perfectly indicative of the problems with the 2010 WWE and indie systems. If he had been 6'1 he would have been a golden goose for WWE. As it stood, they refused to take seriously a la Roman Reigns.

Had a customer snot and sniff around me for an hour only to leave a used tissue on the seats where she was. So that's cool.

I don't think I've cried harder than Verlander getting the last out at 91 pitches and five Ks and his daughter running out to the mound while the final track from Field of Dreams plays. Jesus. Baseball. How can you not love baseball?

Blizzard genuinely needs to drop this sunken cost fallacy they have with Asmongold and actually ban him and his followers from the game. They've repeatedly shown that they are making WoW a more unsafe place for women, minorities, and the dev team themselves.

The biggest eye-roll I can give is that the team clearly went "Hey, people loved the Ashtray Maze sequence. What if we did lots of little Ashtray Mazes all over?" So your story love interest puts on music over your intercom like you're fucking paranormal Baby Driver and you run up a wall.

First few hours with Control Resonant: Its Good. Not great. It is worse than the original Control in every single way, from mashy, sloppy combat to a less interesting setting to a less compelling story and main character. But Control is incredible, so something worse than that is still good.
