assuming you're using FTEQW for a custom game and not an existing game like Quake, i'd advise setting up a custom gamepack. to do so, duplicate the folder gamepacks/quake.game/ and the file gamepacks/games/quake.game and edit them as you wish. there are a lot of options! so feel free to ask any Q's.

More than what Frank said, I think a big reason VGHF has been able to build trust is that we've approached our collections in a way that is human and thoughtful, instead of just acting like wolves tearing at meat. Scrubbing through this video made me really sad. i've already worked on physics simulation stuff for WifeRadiant a little bit, but it's not ready for primetime yet. check back later! as for lighting preview, WifeRadiant already *has* a built-in lighting preview for idTech 4 games, i just need to find a way to make it work for other game types.

Viktor Antonov of Half-Life 2 fame was an environment artist on this game. He studied architecture in university and his ability to build contemporary worlds is what got him the Valve gig. We talked about doing a Kingpin focused interview but he tragically passed a few months later. He was a gent.

Aside from a small list of minor edits, I finished my horror novel today. Its later than I hoped and years after when I thought I would be done, but it seems like I'm at the very least going to be done with the ebook version in time for spooky season.
