We stayed right in the middle of the Flower District in NYC and I just kept thinking how much my mom would have loved it. I don’t know if she would have left that block the whole weekend. It was really special to walk down the sidewalks and feel close to her.

I never imagined 25 years ago that I would be traveling to NYC on 9/11 with my kids. I knew what the date was when I bought the Hamilton tickets, but the 25th anniversary part snuck up on me. I have very mixed emotions about being in the city when I know so many family members and loved ones
