Meanwhile, certain councilors on #yyccc are focused on re-litigating past decisions instead of doing their jobs to protect Calgarians from a known - and increasing - harm that we all know how to fix. SLOW DOWN THE CARS.

Moral of the story: Don't let a dicey weather forecast alter your fun plans. Overnighter # 1of4 in the bag and not one single drop of rain fell on us. Blue sky arrived before nightfall and held until the last morning coffee was enjoyed and all made it back dry.. Join us this summer! #yycbike

A remarkable weekend adventure organized by #yycbike people who the traditional "bike industry" ignores: Folks who ride bikes primarily for transportation. The most wonderful time was had. Thanks for organizing @erininyyc.bsky.social

Community is so underrated in general IMO. People are out here wondering why they feel lonely, why they feel parenting young children is hard, etc etc. It's lack of community. @kmadmclean.bsky.social & I talk about this at least once a week.

Sadly, the people that really should read this (major bike brand leadership) and take some time to understand it, likely won't. And they'll wonder at their next board meeting why sales haven't really improved in the last 20 years. #bikeshoplike substack.com/home/post/p-...

Last week I mentioned to an out of town friend that I was heading out solo for errands and couldn’t decide if biking or walking was better - he asked if I carry pepper spray and I had to explain that I was concerned about drivers and the very real threat of being hit, not a potential random attack.
