Mis libros en vacaciones 😎 Por Elisabeth McNair, en The New Yorker
Pie de viñeta: «How was the beach?»

Just started the 4th book in the Vorkosigan Saga and I’m having a blast. Brilliant characters, sharp wit, and first-rate storytelling. A multi-award-winning space opera that fully deserves its reputation.
Screenshot of search results for “Vorkosigan” in Google. The page title reads “The Vorkosigan Saga” with the category “Literary series.” Below the title are book covers from Lois McMaster Bujold’s science-fiction series, including Shards of Honor, Barrayar, and Brothers in Arms. Guess what show I *finally* got around to watching!
A humorous and detailed graphic adaptation of a promotional poster for the TV series "Breaking Bad", re-titled "BACKING BREAD" for "SEASON 2". In a sunny, dusty desert setting, two men who closely resemble the main characters (Walter White and Jesse Pinkman) are dressed as professional bakers with white aprons and stand in front of a modified vintage beige RV, which is now a mobile bakery. The older man with glasses stands seriously, and the younger man in a green beanie looks back over his shoulder. The RV has hand-painted text that reads "BLUE SKY BAKERY - FRESH DESERT BREAD," and warm steam with baked loaves of bread is visible inside its open door. The younger man is holding a wooden bread peel and, humorously, a tactical gas mask, while a bag of "ARTISAN FLOUR" rests near him. A diamond-shaped badge at the bottom with a wheat stalk and bread peel icon states "SEASON 2". The overall color grading has a dramatic and warm cinematic yellow-green tint

OK, I'l go first. When I make a difficult request or air a complaint, I am putting myself in a vulnerable position, which takes effort. But, instead of receiving human connection (even a tense one) to resolve an issue, I get a zero-effort, polite way of closing the door on genuine communication. #AI
