The Palais De Concorde has served as the seat of the Federation Council since 2175; suspended on four columns above the Champs-Elysée, it houses the Federation Council, Security Council and offices of the President of the United Federation of Planets.

The role of Ch'Shukar in promoting and defender Reeger in the late 2250s, only revealed during closed sessions of the trial, was critical to the former's decision to resign as C-in-C of Starfleet in late 2270.
1190
The Edge of Midnight @eomproject.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Reeger's trial - part of the wider Ferris Inquiry - revealed the extent to which he had participated in and benefitted from the post-2257 "culture of willful silence" that prevented officers from speaking against aggressive and "anti-democratic" commanders.
2170
The Edge of Midnight @eomproject.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Reeger, however, was unable to participate directly in the botched coup itself - he was detained by the Andorian Imperial Guard the evening on May 2nd on the Instructions of Federation Special Services.
1160
The Edge of Midnight @eomproject.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Reeger's martial attitude put him at the centre of the Rittenhouse "set" and ensured he became a critical part of Operation Caesar, using his influence to place loyal commanders in SAG 1 and 5 in the run up to attempted coup.
1170
The Edge of Midnight @eomproject.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Reeger one of many senior officers who openly called for the resgination of Robert April in 2265, as well as the highest-ranked commander to oppose the assignment of NCC-1701 Enterprise to James T. Kirk. He also vetoed the promotion of Commodore Matt Decker to Rear Admiral in 2266.
1160
The Edge of Midnight @eomproject.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
By 2262 Reeger was promoted to Commander of Starbase Eight; having languished on the staff for years, Rittenhouses' brief promotion to Commander, Starfleet allowed Reeger to gain a field position. He held the position for three years, before taking over 9th Fleet in 2266.
1150
The Edge of Midnight @eomproject.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Reeger's reputation as a tough warfighter and a father to his crews belied a man who carefully and vicously curated his own reputation and history, using connections and influence to freeze out or denigrate those who questioned the "Reeger" Myth.
1180
The Edge of Midnight @eomproject.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
Vice Admiral Simon Reeger served as Captain of USS Constitution from it's launch in 2245 until 2257. He fought several engagements with the Klingons during the tail end of the "Four Years' War" (2241-2245) and T'Kuvma's War (2256-57), before promotion to flag rank.

Like many Tycho-designed vessels, the Repulse saw a brief heyday in the late 2260s to mid 2270s before the bulk of Total Modernisation Project designs entered service.

The Repulse-class Heavy Destroyer was designed as a replacement for the Malachowski and Loknar class Frigates. Though large numbers were placed on order under the Shukar Reforms in 2261 and 2262, less than ten hulls were laid down before the 2268 Allocations Bill saw a drastic cut in construction.

Archer Class scouts Hengist (1888) and Horse (1889) were both centrepieces in one of the most dramatic incidents of the Acamar Crisis, when they performed an atmospheric run over the planet to make sensor scans of Klingon military facilities and Long Range Interspatial Missile Sites.

"The Three Amigos" - 2269 The contentious relationship between Shukar, Rittenhouse and Nogura, already difficult by the mid 2260s, would only continue to deterioate across the later years of the decade, especially after Rittenhouse return to the position of Commander, Starfleet.

USS Tigerfish NCC-1509-A is the second starship to bear the name after the decommissioning of the Lancaster Class USS Tigerfish. Both ships would be commanded by J.T Carlson, a veteran of the Four Years War. The Tigerfish-A would serve as his Flagship during the last years of the Cold War in 2290.
