Finally finished MOTHER 1 on the NSO (as EarthBound Beginnings), and despite some gripes I enjoyed it. Did a quick boxart mock-up, with my own logo reflecting the in-game one

A mock-up NES boxart for Earth Bound (aka EarthBound Beginnings/Zero or MOTHER), including a pic of three children staring off at a strange mountain.
It includes a tagline "It's time for YOU to go an a little adventure!" and a blurb regarding the intended 80-page guide booklet that would have been included with the original release.

There's so many GOOD good episodes of TOS but I'm hafta go with The Doomsday Machine--and I've felt that way even before learning it was a "prequel" of sorts to The Motion Picture Least favorite? Gee, The Way to Eden, I guess. I dunno, I don't remember episodes I dislike too well

Sometimes I sit and think about how unbelievably perfect Star Trek The Motion Picture is and it floors me every time And I mean, Robert Wise, Isaac Asimov, AND Syd Mead all together on one production? Get outta town. A movie like this is impossible to ever make again, truly once in a lifetime
