I'd very much like people to stop using the terms "X/Tiktok refugee". Moving social media platforms, even being forced to move platforms doesn't equate to being a refugee of any kind. It seems to me this usage is diluting the meaning of the term and obscuring the reality of being an actual refugee.

Fun fact about me: I adore invertebrates, and am currently proud mother to various Giant African Land Snails and Giant African Millipedes. 🐛🐌 Madagascar hissing cockroaches also used to be part of my family, but the last one, Stoker (pictured), passed away last year. I really miss hissers though!
