Don’t think her personal life is of much relevance. But yes, being the only Alaskan member of Congress (despite multiple publicly claims to support it) to actually introduce a bill that would add a tribal seat to the NPFMC is HUGE and would have material impact on people around the state.

I mean… to be fair, she WAS dealing with a lot of insane & traumatic personal stuff. The office was essentially being run by her COS, so take that for what it is. Still sucks, but the office turnover was a bunch of junior staff, many of whom were not from AK.
