ya'know what, The OoT remake doesn't actually look that awful! It was a bit jarring at first but after learning about the puppet theater stuff It feels a lot more thought out and intentional than just "What if zelda had unreal engine lighting." It still looks a little strange but I admire the effort

It's insane how AI has removed so much of the excitement from hearing about new projects in those spaces, Now every news drop comes with skepticism in my mind. It's so frustrating cause I feel like homebrew/emulation modding fields require so much precision that AI simply won't give but noone gaf!

I was reading an author recently talking about how we don't appreciate the way that email isn't siloed. That is, you don't have to be in gmail to talk to someone else in gmail. The norm is so powerful, it'd be unthinkable to change it. All email is interoperable. Social media could've been this way.
