JCO, speaking like a true chaos gremlin shit-poster. Joyce, honey, there are no machine made clothes. They’re all made by humans. Closest we’ve gotten is an underwear that’s laser cut and has the seams welded, but they don’t stay on anyone’s ass, and they’re plastic panties, so they suck.

Just a reminder that empathy makes us better humans. Caring about the collective rather than just yourself shouldn't be radical.
It shouldn't have to happen to you for it to matter to you.

I'm so thankful to Becky and her mom for their trust, generosity, and strength in front of the Supreme Court. No matter what the Court says, Becky is a hero for standing up for herself and trans girls like her. Doing what's right, even when the odds are against you, is the definition of courage.

Maya Angelou was completely right “People will forget what you said but never how you made them feel” Problem is entitlement, privilege and trauma means folks lose the understanding of discomfort as part of growth as opposed to “feeling bad” And blame the safest person not the source

Once again.
Black and white photo of Marjane Satrapi with the quote:

"The world is not divided between East and West. You are American. I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you.

And our governments are very much the same."

The end result I think (and obviously it's touchy to talk in generations) but Xers are defined by their cynicism. Millennials righteous indignation. I don't think you get Occupy Wallstreet (for all it's good and bad it shaped the way we talk about capitalism) without that.
