I think the Marvel Tokon season 1 characters are okay. They are fine. They are alright.

OK, so now it makes ALL of the sense why Studio Pierrot started streaming the Ninku anime on YouTube yesterday! For those who don't get the relevance, Masashi Kishimoto admitted that he created Naruto, in part, because he wished there was more Ninku anime. He's a big fan.

Finally nearing the end of Leda's Path. I'll finish it either tomorrow or Sunday, and then move on to Cai's.

Sega has betrayed their loyal fans. His name was "Sonic" and now in an act of spite, he's been renamed to "McLaren Racing". They've officially gone too fucking far. I will no longer be buying products in the "McLaren Racing The Hedgegog" series.

I want all forms of art to force me to confront my biases, prejudices, preferences, and perspective of the world I want it to make me think. I want it to make me uncomfortable because that's the best environment for growth and I hope to keep growing. To avoid discomfort is to avoid living a life

My enjoyment of Fortune's Weave has improved by accepting that I can't min-max everything as well as being more careful. I still think the gameplay loop has flaws, as does the writing, but I am actually enjoying it now.

I'm almost done with Leda's Path. Honestly I might save my thoughts on it for friends on Discord, because I feel like my thoughts have a bit of nuance that isn't great for social media.

Did I get farther in Fortune's Weave? No. Did I exploit the global support levels to get everyone whose Renown requirements I can reach to high enough support to grab? Yes.

They could never do a Fire Emblem and Digimon crossover, because I know those motherfuckers would not be able to hold themselves back from making the protagonist's dad a Leomon.

I think Nergal is an underrated villain. Every other main antagonist in an FE game is like "Oh, I need to revive and or unseal the problem dragon demon god or goddess." And he's just like "Oh, I've got that thirst that only the lifeforce of dragons will quench."

I've had to restart chapter 7 of Leda's path a million fucking times because autosave keeps fucking me over. This game is my autistic ass's fucking nightmare. I'm going to have to quit this game for my own mental health.

Joker @emblemoflodis.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I think between not really enjoying Engage (especially after my second playthrough made me realize the gameplay has a lot of things that pile up and make me not like it) and not really enjoying Fortune's Weave, I just need to accept that I'm no longer in Fire Emblem's target demographic.

010

Joker @emblemoflodis.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I think I enjoy thinking about making an OC for Fortune's Weave a lot more than I actually like playing FW.

000

Joker @emblemoflodis.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I will say, I entered Fortune's Weave fully expecting to S-Support Leda, but I honestly am leaning towards Alexandra instead. Mind you, that's partly because I think Leda deserves better than to be paired with a man. Lmao

000

Joker @emblemoflodis.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I'm going to be honest. Fortune's Weave might be my least favorite FE game. We will see where I land by the end of it, but I may end up writing a formal apology to New Mystery of all games by the end of this.

When a game studio ships a solid game, it creates TWO valuable products: 1. A solid game. 2. The team that spent years learning how to work together make a game. Because Western studios keep disbanding #2 while development cycles get longer; we will inevitably see less of #1.
