Homelessness is pretty much a death sentence a lot of the time here. I struggled with housing for years even *after* I got my SSI benefits. It's sooo hard to get them, then once you do, it's even harder to find an affordable apartment. I am genuinely surprised my life is this good now.

We should stop using autism as a shield to excuse someone's poor or terrible behavior. It can explain the lack of social cues, but it does NOT give anyone a free pass to be a creep or harass others. If someone is disruptive, they need to be be removed from that space.

I get inspiration for my characters in at least these ways: 1) They do things I would never condone anyone doing. Ever. 2) They say parrot my invasive thoughts and say things I think I want to say, but don't exactly mean. Otherwise, some have virtues I wish I had or just do disturbing stuff. 😂
