elektra holds an axe over her head. she is a shadow, the frame around her like a maw with fangs. In front of her Aegisthus pulls back the sheet to unveil the body and exclaims "What is this? what treachery have you wrought elektra?" the corpse is blood red and everything is in warm tones.A monochrome page of cool grays showing Elektra under a veil kneeling before an urn flanked by two sphinxes. The urn has a tree painted on it, and under the sphinxes there are two deer looking towards it. Elektra burns incense in a bowl.Elektra leaves her sister Chrysothemes behind, telling her "if your betrayal against our father isn't enough for you, at least have mercy on your soul and do not commit the crime of putting gifts from a murderer on her hated victims' grave. Bury these, where they will find Clytemnestra once she is dead, and cut your own hair for his tomb." She walks into another room with mosaic mural that has a peacock, deer, raven, and lion, representative of Elektra and her family

Hello! Akira here.

How We Made the Moon Cry is currently live on Kickstarter, and we still have a significant journey ahead of us. I would like to address a curious inquiry regarding our reward tiers:

"Why are there so few extras?"

The short and simple reason is moneyt As an indie publisher, each additional item, whether a bookmark or an alternative cover, increases production, procurement, and shipping costs. These additions necessitate a much higher funding goal as well.

While I would enjoy offering a wider variety of prints, stickers and bonuses, my priority is ensuring the project remains sustainable by focusing our budget on artist and book designer costs. The book itself is the highlight of this Kickstarter and represents the culmination of everyone's hard work.

We have approximately 20 days remaining in the campaign and around $6k to reach. We need your continued support during this final stretch to ensure this project reaches the finish line. Every pledge brings us closer to making this book a reality!Hello! Akira here.

Hello #transdayofvisibility ! I'm a transmasc Colombian artist and storyteller who loves to do mythological reinterpretation and make collage! You can support me on Patreon or if you're an editor looking for Latine gothic horror GNs, please reach out! #TDOV www.patreon.com/elsombreronart
Ovidio and Josie talk to each other in the dark, and we see Josie sleeping, bonnet on, the colors of her dreams exploding out from her.

Ovidio: what has your llorona lost?
Josie: I don't know... It'll come to me somehow. She visits me in my dreams. A collection of mini paintings I did for a gallery show depicting bloody dresses, ghostly brides, medical illustrations, empty doorways, and bodies. In the top right corner there's a bloody keyIn the top corner we see a women's smile in the bottom one we see a woman's tears. Between them are the many iterations of her ghost in front of a swirling rainy background.

Josie: it always starts with some type of love, followed by an immense loss, an ocean of grief. And then there's the blame. Was she responsible for what happened to her? Did she precipitate her own fate? Is it her own fault she's now doomed to wander looking for what's lost?A black background with a red circle in the middle. Circle has a border with the repeating words "loud bark, deep bite" in the center a woman with a dog head bites down on the leg of a dog with a woman's head, who's biting down on hers. She also holds the dog by leash pulled taut around around its neck

The camera quality isn't astounding but I find it keeps me aware of the world in a way as I look for shots and once I start I get motivated to take a lot more
A picture of a car in an empty parking garage A picture of an island of dead grass in the middle of a frozen brook, barren trees around itA shot of the brook as it goes under a bridge, barren trees in the foreground A wooden birdhouse, centered, trees and a playground in the background
