I've been trying to work on losing weight the last few months. I have a highly sedentary, stressful job that requires long hours, often into the evening. I also hate exercise and love to eat. This deadly combination lead me to my highest weight at 250, with a high body fat percentage (I'm 6').

Something that irritates me to no end is that I have not seen a single short video in at least 3 years with on-screen captions free of typos or outright incorrect words. I get that many of these are auto-generated but even in highly produced videos, it is pervasive. I hate it so much.

I treat all statements my wife says to me as a compliment. "Your hands are cold." Thank you! "Your shirt has a hole." Thanks for noticing! Sometimes she'll crack and say 'you know, that wasn't a compliment.' Then I try to make her explain how it wasn't and she takes another step towards insanity.
