We got the kids some animal facts books and have been working through a few animals at a time. There is a tiny crab that picks up sea anemones and carries them around like a cheerleader, known as the Pom Pom crab. I really just need everyone to know about this.

Depending on age of kiddo, the Humane Society has a rescue readers program where kids can read to animals for an hour. There's always been a bunch of bunnies there when we've been, and they are surprisingly into the reading.

I’m not seeing this talked about a ton, but in regards to MN public schools there is a constitutional amendment to get people to vote yes on that will increase distribution from a very large pot of money. (It would go from 2.5% of dividends/interest to 4.5% of full market value).

What this study shows me is that school choice means a series of impossible decisions for traditional districts. School choice has created a literal profit motive in the education world where “move fast and break things” has led to mass exodus with no better outcomes. In MN, choice is hyper-charged.
