She actually went there as Míriel, the dethroned Regent Queen of Númenor, The Queen of Lies, the warmonger that came blind from ME and was blinded by Galadriel's pride, consumed by Elvish magic inside the palantíri and the decay of her father Tar Palantír... 1/2

Míriel was just chilling in that cliff and there they went her three situationships of the moment to fight for her attention. She needs to give them a schedule or organise a foursome.

#Tolkientober Day 5: Hope For this prompt I could only think of the most truly hopeful scene in all Tolkien adaptations for me🖤🤍 P.S: Inspired by "The Swan" by Hilma af Klint✨ #Adar #Galadriel

Colour illustration (in browns, blacks and blues) of Adar and Galadriel standing in front of each other with a hand extended. Adar has Nenya on the palm of his hand and is offering it to Galadriel, who hesitantly extends her hand to take it.

The scene is split in two halves by the tone of the background, very dark behind Galadriel and very bright behind Adar, so Galadriel's figure is silhouetted against the dark background, and Adar's is silhouetted against the light background.

There is a halo of blue light around Nenya, also enveloping their outstretched hands.

There are forms of trees and roots in both backgrounds, white in Adar's half and black in Galadriel's one.

In last week's TROP rewatch I said Míriel is Númenor's Jesus as a joke but I've been thinking how she is indeed religious figure material for the Faithful. Her hugging the woman who slapped her, her surviving the trial by abyss, her sacrificing herself for her people, her death on the Meneltarma...

One thing (amongst others) that I appreciate about TRoP? We're seeing onscreen lands of Arda never before seen outside of imagination and art (which is AWESOME too!)....Eregion? Númenor? Rhûn? Valinor? YES PLEASE 🤩👏🏻

How do you solve a problem like the daughter-heir? #TheWheelOfTime credit: @jlowry001.bsky.social

Meme combining The Wheel of Time and The Sound of Music. Elayne Trakand’s face is edited onto Maria’s body from the iconic scene where she joyfully spins in an alpine meadow with mountains in the background. Elayne is smiling with her mouth open mid-song, referencing her performance of “The Hills of Tanchico”, a comedic and suggestive tune featured in episode 306 of The Wheel of Time. The mashup humorously reimagines Elayne as Maria singing about more than just hills.

The fact that no one else had made it out of this trial alive before not making it into the show takes a lot of meaning from Míriel surviving it and I hate it so much. She wasn't procclaimed Queen of the Sea for nothing.

Colour illustration of Adar sitting on Mairon/Sauron's lap, his face half hidden behind the other's as if he was kissing his cheek (or biting his neck, who knows). Mairon/Sauron is looking directly at the espectator with his bright eyes, half his face hidden behind Adar's neck; he has his left hand on Adar's waist and his right hand disappearing between Adar's thighs.

Next to lovers there is a rustic table with a couple of light candles and two glasses of red wine. Just above the table hangs a heavy red curtain.

At the background there is a highly decorated window inspired by J.R.R Tolkien's illustration "Wickedness" (1912). Through the window we can see a red crescent moon and a couple of white stars.

The colours are red/orange (Sauron, wine and curtain), blues/pinks (Adar) and a mix of them for the background, which is purple/brown.

*Adar won't willingly share these private secrets but memories come to his mind anyway for us to see👇* (Credit for the headcanon to @nothalbrand.bsky.social, the first person I wrote SaurDar with 🖤)

Pencil sketch of Adar and Mairon cuddling under furs. Adar, wearing a simple robe, is grabbing some berries with his gauntlet from a plate on his lap while holding a wine cup on the other hand. Sauron wears a blacksmith apron over his robes and is leaning over Adar's shoulder, his face close to his. He is saying "MÔR MÍRË", which appears translated as "dark jewel" on top of the drawing.
