You know, after sitting with it for a while, I can think of more things I appreciate about this movie. For one, Ryan Gosling's character had profound development and challenged the viewer's initial assumptions about his character. Secondly, I like Peter and the Wolf. Thirdly, I actually really like

My dad is terrible at song lyrics. He sings How You Remind Me with the lyrics "Never made it with a blind man". My wife is also terrible at song lyrics. She sings Alone by Heart as "How do I end up alooone?" and Tearin' Up My Heart as "Staring at my heart". I get lots of amusement from this.

Finished blade runner 2049 w/ wife. Vastly inferior to the original. Much heavier handed, and Harrison Ford blows EVERY other actor out of the water in the film. No offense to them, he's just incredibly good. I like Ryan Gosling just fine but his deliveries are weird. There's plenty of good though.
