Supergirl
I had so many problems with this film.
Main ones were that none of the women other than supergirl had any agency and the non white women were either sympathetic antagonists, villains, or people to be saved. This really should've been directed by a woman. Or co directed, at least. Also the plot and pacing were all over the place. This all added up to be a very mediocre film- I can enjoy a mediocre film but this one had no personality; like there is no reason I'd want to watch this film again. Also, the longer it went on the more I had to mentally disassociate with the film because there were so many plot holes. In addition:
Cgi wasn't good
Plot was iffy
Antagonist didnt have enough oomph or a real reason for doing things
Mc wasn't really likeable, side character wasnt either
Side character was horribly annoying, to the point that I feel bad for the actress.
Mc was preachy
Pacing was bad
They kept nerfing the mc for no reason
A point in the 2nd act was there for no reason
It was boring
The music was bad. It was so 40 year old white people coded.

Night of the living dead 90
Liked the quick and intense start. Rest of it was relatively mediocre until the last 15 or so minutes, which were interesting. I hated the music synthesizers they used for the background track.

Liked(was disturbed by) the existential horror. First act was a bit boring. 3.3/5

The bone temple
One of the best horror movies I've seen. First scene was better than most movies and did an amazing job at setting the tone. The characters themselves pushed things along and what made the movie for me is the character dynamics; each featured character was acting in different ways and all had believable reasons for acting the way they did. Not sure if most people would like it because it isn't a stupid zombie movie, a light horror comedy, or pretentious Oscar bait. 4/5
