Yes, definitely! That’s a good way to put it. 😂

Thanks a lot! Glad to hear that - it sounds wonderful! It’s really interesting to hear about the particular histories of vintage pieces. I’m sure it looks great on you! 😊

Made some progress on a new Polaroid photography series today. Developing an idea often takes me considerable time, but once it takes shape, things can come together quickly. With peel-apart film so scarce, I’m more cautious these days and tend to plan each shot. Can anyone else relate? #polaroid

Took some snaps with my freshly repainted garden table! It took a few weeks of sanding, repairing the uneven areas with wood filler and adding a few coats of paint, but I’m so pleased with how it turned out. #diy #homedecor #painting

Had a lovely time at the Topsham Flower & Vegetable Show yesterday. It was wonderful to see everything people had grown in the local allotments, and how beautifully it had all been displayed. Everyone seemed so pleased with their flowers and produce - a really lovely afternoon! 🌸🌿

Some snaps from the solar eclipse recently which was quite a surreal experience to say the least! Minky enjoyed it. ☀️😎 #chihuahua #solareclipse #cutedog

I've had an idea for a new photography project. Unfortunately, the garden table I've used for a few of my previous projects has seen better days, so I've had to sand it down before giving it a fresh coat of paint. DIY definitely isn't my forte! 🤦‍♀️

It was my birthday a couple of days ago! I went on a short trip to the seaside in Exmouth and had such a lovely day. ☀️

Went to an Alanis Morissette gig a recently. She was fantastic and gave an incredibly strong vocal performance! Seeing such an iconic artist from the 90s felt like witnessing a piece of pop culture history. I can’t claim to be a longtime fan but it was a privilege to see her perform nearby.

I've been thinking lately about attention. The internet rewards what captures it. But very little helps us cultivate it. I wonder if, somewhere along the way, we've forgotten that attention is also something we can give - that noticing is a practice.

It's too hot for anything other than a camisole at the park. My dog isn't a fan of the weather and demanded to be carried. 🐶☀️😂

Creativity and chronic illness
Art, and creativity in general, is something that brings meaning to the lives of many people. It can be hard to take part in or get access to when you’re chronically ill. Here we shine the light on some ingenious artists, photographers, writers and more. They sometimes work alone, sometimes with others, and their work is informed by their experience of chronic illness.
