He still vomits after going #2 sometimes, and now sometimes loses his appetite and won't eat for me. He's losing weight to a worrying degree. During his last exam, the blood tests came back normal as did his fecal exam. They didn't find any obstruction in his bowels but there was an unusual amount of gas. I theorize that he has IBD since his brother, Thomas, also has a sensitive tummy (just not to this degree). Regardless, we desperately need to get him back to the vet and hopefully try him on a prescription diet for IBD, if nothing else is discovered.

I had hoped the last donations would help us get him to the vet but we have been experiencing severe financial hardship so that money was used for cat food, litter, and food for ourselves- I'm sorry to say. I feel very guilty for not using it to get him to the vet, but we cannot care for our cats if we don't have food for ourselves. I have started reaching out to food banks, though, so hopefully that alleviates some pressure.

My birthday is coming up soon (September 4th) and I would love, as my gift this year, to get Spirit back to the vet. I just want to see my poor boy healthy again.
