If you got any weird pre-order payment emails from PlayStation Direct, they were errors. For me it was the 20th anniversary controller.

Look what they did to Notepad. Shut the fuck up. This is Notepad. You are not welcome here. Oh yeah "Let me use Copilot for Notepad". "I'm going to sign into my account for Notepad". What the fuck are you talking about. It's Notepad.

Windows Notepad, the native simple text editor, now has formatting options and a Copilot button.

I'm looking through what I think is the oldest text document about DELTARUNE that I can find. This is one of the first facts about Susie. Even though this has never happened in the game, everyone just intuitively understands this as true. I won.

By the way! Did you! Know! I made the Lightners Live minigame for Deltarune! The mechanics, the charts, the silly details — everything but the music, writing and final art was me. I even built an entire chart editor from scratch, because manually timing each note sucks so so bad #deltarune

Totaka’s Song was found in Mario Kart World. It’s one of Nintendo’s longest running easter eggs dating back to Mario Paint in ‘92. Nintendo Composer Kazumi Totaka famously includes it in his games. He still works at Nintendo and is Yoshi’s voice actor! www.nintendolife.com/news/2025/06...

oh it gets even funnier/better the author of FFT himself saw the memes and said, "damn, that sounds like me, wish I had actually written it into the game"

松野泰己🐈‍⬛
@YasumiMatsuno
I found the line that became an internet meme interesting.

“If the penalty for a crime is a fine, then that law only exists for the lower class.”

Of course, this line was not written by me, nor is it a line in Final Fantasy Tactics. However, it certainly sounds like something I would have written.

It's a shame I didn't know about this funny line until today.

The best way to learn how to make comics is to make them. Over and over and over again. And each time you’ll get better and figure out what you like and what you hate. Also reading comics is a very good teacher

For a long time, humorous clips of Mario saying "Hello door" and "Another door?!" in Super Mario Sunshine were known about, but presumed unused. It turns out they can actually be heard in the game by performing an unreasonably specific action in the debug testing room.

If you have ever felt that 200cc in Mario Kart 8/Deluxe is much faster than it should be, your suspicions are correct. Based on the formula followed by the other engine classes, the speed the game pretends is 200cc is actually 415cc instead.

In Mario Kart 8/Deluxe, 200cc feels much
faster compared to 150cc than 150cc does
compared to 100cc. This is because it actually
is about 38% faster than it should be based
on the ratio between top speed and class
as established by 50cc, 100cc and 150cc.
If the formula established by the other
engine classes is followed to calculate
the engine class that 200cc should be
based on its top speed, then the result
indicates that the true engine class the
game claims is 200cc is actually 415cc.

Mario Kart World was in development a long time ago It was being developed for Switch, but they ran into many limitations so they kicked the can down the road, developed the MK 8 Deluxe Course Pass instead. In 2020, based on estimates of what the specs would be, they moved development to Switch 2.

Catwoman page by Darwyn Cooke with inks by Mike Allred. #comics #art

Darwin Cooke penciled and Mike Allred inked this amazing yet suspenseful scene playing out as Catwoman flies through the streets of Gotham, hoping she can make it in time to prevent yet another murder! This run of Catwoman is beloved due to the crime-writing of Ed Brubaker, supplemented by the combined might of two titans of modern superhero comics: Darwyn Cooke and Mike Allred.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the item roulette is a meaningless illusion meant to give the players a false sense of agency over which items they get. The game's debug mode shows that the item is decided on the frame the player touches the Item Box, and the roulette is irrelevant.

In Super Mario Galaxy, a planet can be seen in the distance in Good Egg Galaxy that should not exist. Attempting to fly to that planet makes it transform into a different one when Mario gets close. This is actually due to a completely wrong low-polygon model being assigned to it.

Switch 2 releases in less than 40 days. The Switch era lasted 8 years. For the legends at Nintendo who've been with the company since the NES/SNES, this could be their last Nintendo system if they decide to retire in their 70's & 80's which is perfectly reasonable.
