We created gyms because modern day work no
longer required physical activity. Without exercise,
our muscles atrophy.
I predict we'll need gyms for our brains too, once Al
starts doing our knowledge work.

Also, people flipping through social media videos with the volume cranked up, like they're sitting alone at home. Positively uncivilized behavior.

Recent updates: - We're winning. - The Strait of Hormuz is open. There's no problem with the Strait. Please don't report there's a problem with the Strait. - America demands Iran open the Strait. - Iran has offered to reopen the Strait. - America rejects Iran's offer, due to all the winning.

Yeah, I recently heard NYC laundromats offer this life hack, and I almost used it on a trip there, before I learned my hotel had a free laundry room. But it's good to know you can do this.

There are also Skynet scenarios but they don't seem plausible to me. We could just not give all our weapons to powerful AIs we allow to operate without overrides?

That's impossible. Markets will always follow instructions dictated by very important men. The more forceful Bessent's directives get, the more successfully he'll guide outcomes. This is especially true of the bond market, which is famously welcoming to authority.

I wonder if the sweet spot is something like 15-episode seasons. I've noticed a lot of streamers have dense, fast-paced story arcs, almost like a movie, while 22+ episodes inevitably involve filler episodes you could easily skip. A happy medium would be nice.
