Thank you for the well-wishes. I will find out how much he liked it when he gets home, but he's partially an unreliable narrator. He mostly only sees things that he knows that he will like, or researches in advance to find out enough about a show to see if it's something he's likely to enjoy.

Discharged today. I am home. 21 or so days of monitoring things at home, home health care visits, and Jeff doing a quick learning curve on what to do. I am very lucky, and very grateful, but I would like to think that I feel both of those things every day of my life. I'm.still scared & nervous.

Hey hi hello. Not really 'back', just an update. Went to emergency room on Sunday. Lots of tests & scans, & admitted to hospital that day for surgery for severe infection. Still there today, will be recuperating for a while, & then some ongoing care at home. Never ignore when you're not well.

I am much more of a "eat smaller meals, several times a day" guy now. I will occasionally over order, so I have stuff to bring home. Today, I got sidetracked with a bowl of soup, & Jeff ordered a 2nd bowl of salad that he and our friends did not eat, so I took up that gauntlet for a bit.
