Apparently, the Mego Marvel sets are already available at the California Disney Avengers store. Scott Rogers picked up a set and sent in these amazing pictures of the finished product. #mego #megomuseum #MarvelComics

I think I had every one of those rack toys, albeit under a different license or theme. It’s one of great things about rack toys. Young me would have walked by generic police handcuffs. But, put them on a Hulk card and call them “Hulk Cuffs”? I would have not left the store without them.

Donald Trump is not himself the disease of our politics. He’s just the worst symptom. The disease is the system that allows corporations to buy and sell politicians so they can rig it against the rest of us. Money out of politics. Money in your pocket. Medicare for All.

My mom got me one at a flea market in the early ‘80s. In first grade, after I got my first Bandai Godzilla from Mr Big’s Toyland, I traded it to another kid for a Tri-Bots Mis-L. 20 years later I got another set off eBay.

I grew up in Michigan and got my Doctor Who (Tom) experience from Canada... Though I could only watch it at a friend's house, where we could barely get it in. I don't remember which station it was or if there was a host. This was around 1980. I wonder if it was TVO? MAGIC.

I just learned that today marks the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who on TVO, beginning with the Pertwee era with host segments from Dr. Jim Dator to make it "educational." This was my first exposure to the series, and it scared the hell out of me when I was 5. #DoctorWho #TVO youtu.be/hWKYbnxEy44?...
