New subsurface temperature models for Ireland have been published! In this work we used a joint geophysical petrological inversion to solve directly for temperature. doi.org/10.1093/gji/...

In a study of professors, women got 378 new work requests over 4 weeks vs 118 for men. Women spent more time on service, advising & teaching; men on research. Orgs should track who is taking extra duties & ensure they are rewarded and distributed fairly. www.forbes.com/sites/kimels...

Heads-up! I just posted a new batch of Lawetlat’la (Mt St Helens), Tahoma (Mt Rainier) and Erebus (Antarctica) scale model 3D-printed volcano tissue box covers in my shop. This is the first time Tahoma has been offered in InSAR colors. phaneritic.etsy.com
To Home a tissue box cover that is 3-D printed with the tissue coming out of the top that changes colors very very quickly from layer to layer to make it look like rainbowINSAR. There is a script “Tahoma“ with Mount Rainier underneath in the style of Forest service signs.Detail of the 3-D printed Mount Rainier topography in rainbow color gradientMount Saint Helens 3-D printed tissue box cover top that is printed in purple and gold so it looks purple in One Direction and gold in the other directionBlack and green Mount Saint Helens volcano tissue box top cover. Excellent 2 days of fieldwork for the GRANNUS and MOD3LTHERM projects. 100% data recovery in Northern Ireland and we installed a fence to protect the equipment from cows. Thanks to Eoghan Totten @dias_geophysics and Rob Raine @GeoSurveyNI for making this possible #Diasdiscovers.
