We're moving into spring! Time for renewal and wild temperature changes. I like seeing all the colors. What do you like about spring?

This FB post from 2017 popped up. I didn't become a professional freelance editor until two years later. He's now in college. #AmEditing #OxfordComma

Facebook memory from Oct 23, 2017.

My son, aged 12, reading a quiz card at dinner tonight: "The words all run together because they left out the Oxford Comma!"
My work here is done.

Here is a snippet from the just punctuation site. And my chance to insert a real em dash or three — — — #AmEditing

Seven lines of punctuation marks. Primarily commas and dashes, with ampersands, parentheses, double and single quotation marks, and slashes for good measure.

I remodeled my Word Ribbon, building a new Habitat tab to take the place of Home. The groups are named after penguin species. It's possible this makes me a little too happy. #AmEditing #freelance #editors

Snippet of MS Word's Ribbon, rearranged to suit an editor of words. Lots of symbols and command names, such as Font Color, Track Changes, View Macros, and many more. The main tab called Habitat is shown, with items arranged in groups called Galapagos, Emperor, Chinstrap, and Macaroni. This naming convention is merely for fun. No penguins were harmed in the making of this Ribbon.
