i think hotsampling in vp is overrated, unless you're trying to make something print quality *or* it lends something to the look you're ultimately trying to achieve but i don't think it's necessary to make something interesting or beautiful

2 days of nothing but work and blender. physics work but the front of the dangly bit is distorted and I could just cover it with flowers and ignore the issue (as it's for personal use)...but i will probably mess with it later. and find why the bottom is so black despite using the same texture. tired

Hahaa, I mean I love me some period-accurate costumes—clothes say so much about characters, and historical dress was such a product of time and place—or at the very least, I appreciate period-conscious costuming. Like, if a costume designer was intentional with it, I can forgive a bit of inaccuracy.

I guess I made a Regency AU once, when I was 15 (after I read Pride and Prejudice for the first time) but I haven't been too interested in doing that again, although my appreciation for Austen remains. I do find learning about the era interesting and am a sucker for a period piece most of the time.
