The U.S. mines it in Detroit as well as several locations in NY, Ohio, Louisiana and Kansas . Canada has mines in Windsor and Goderich Ontario, Gros Iles Quebec and Pugwash Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia and Quebec might be closer to Maine than NY but I can’t think of why they get salt from Canada.

I have yet to see a recipe or dish where I didn’t think “What if we added some….” And, beans (home made preferably or Clark’s in a pinch) on toast with onion is comfort food for me as is hash, grilled cheese, fried mushrooms on toast and stew.

Private career colleges masquerading as truck driver training schools have been known to exist for decades. There was no mechanism to report this and anyone who tried was reprimanded. It’s not just Ford. It’s a See No Evil culture at the MTO and Ministry of Colleges.

A very nice 30 something we met recently is mid divorce. One reason is that his nurse ex-wife is anti vax and had been suspended from her hospital job for not vaccinating and has refused to return to work now that the vax requirement is lifted.
