Physically-based forecast works even within a changing climate, #AI based however fails to forecast extreme events, since they weren't training for that. "Great science happens in great teams". True! but evaluation & recognition still done individually. Papers written equally by all authors are rare, only leader author takes a big chunk of the work. Whatever ideas this committee will come out shouldn't be more work load for scientists. 🧪 #AcademicSky
