Simonne was… just as ironclad as she was on the day she’d left her. Her physique was well defined, and visible through the thin fabric of her shirt. Her narrow frame was like a steel mast under canvas sails. The taught muscles on her neck flexed under the skin as she tilted her head to the side, emphasizing her sharp jawline.
“You might want to close your mouth before you start drooling.” Simonne said, and Zera put her hand to her mouth. “You weren’t having untoward thoughts about me, were you?”
“So many,” Zera whimpered, then she blushed and looked away. She hadn’t seen Simonne in too long. There was no way she could talk to her like nothing had changed.
“That’s a relief… because I was having some of my own.” Simonne said, before leaning forward, and kissing her on the scar just above her navel.

Helldivers 2 runs well on Linux after some minor tweaks and tinkering with Proton. I had to lower a couple of settings to get more than 60fps, but honestly, I wasn't always getting 60+ on windows either. The only issue I'm still having is that I can't throw stuff near the start of a dive.

The pale mage said nothing as he pulled off his glove to reveal a golden bracelet with five gemstones set inside. The ruby began to glow as he signed, and stretched, muttering something in an almost imperceptible yallic. His eyes shone white for an instant as he held his hands out before him, and froze into place.
Galot grimaced. “I wonder what that freaky bastard uses those powers for when he’s not doing real work.”
Sev cuffed him. The animant wasn’t hitting him hard, but his metal hand made an audible clunk against his shoulder all the same.
“Ow! You’d be asking the same question if you had a prick to spy on. Who’s to say he doesn’t use it in people’s bedrooms?”
Sev shook his head, the machine wasn’t amused. “Most people get to see your prick whether they like it or not. At some point or another.”

I don't care about graphics anymore. If there were a game like OG Baldurs Gate, but turn based like Fallout or BG3, I'd probably play it. If it had a story with different paths and deep, well written characters like in Mass Effect, I'd probably never stop playing it.

Akorhtyss glanced to the origin point of the voice, and saw golden eyes staring back.
“Who the hell are you?” the captain demanded.
“A warrior. A healer. A swindler with justification… It depends on who you ask.”
“I’m asking you.” Akorthyss said.
The figure stood - no… rose, and landed gracefully on his feet. “I am a Questor of the Vermillion Knights," he said, eyes shining in auric gold.
The rings of yellow were the only thing the captain could see as the figure approached until he reached the edge of the candle light, which dimmed as he walked nearer.
“My name is Voteus. A Watcher from Cadnod’s Refuge, and I have come to ensure we are all not being led astray," he said.
“You must be Gjeron’s vampire.” Akorthyss said, setting his jaw. “You can stop with the theatrics. You don’t intimidate me.”
The shadows cloaking the figure began to recede, and as they did, Voteus’ pale skin came into view. The man hadn’t made a sound as he crossed the room, so it was a great shock to Akorthyss to see him in full plate armor.

In the shade of a large tree, Tariu and Hegor lay. Tariu was shivering violently. His eyes were closed, and he was seemingly trapped in an agonizing fever dream. Hegor’s sunken eyes were closed tight, and he held his sopping wet cloak around the two of them. His hat was nowhere to be seen, and his stringy blond hair was plastered to his young, pale face as he huffed and puffed, struggling to catch his breath.
An empty bottle of mender’s tonic was clutched in Hegor’s other hand, and Tariu was mumbling something under his breath. Two young men who had barely survived a once in a lifetime ordeal… or at least it should have been… if they weren’t watchers.

Tekken 4 was a couple of years old the first time I'd ever seen it. I was playing it in the arcade, then at my uncle's house. I got into fighting games for a decade after that. SoulCalibur, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, all of it. I didn't really get into other games until Halo 3 and Mass Effect.
