Good morning. As reported by the WSJ, the US budget deficit climbed to nearly $2 trillion ($1.993 trillion) for the fiscal year ending September 30. What remains historically notable is that the US has continued to run a deficit of around 6% of GDP despite solid growth and a robust labor market.

9T0MD picked me up when i was -20, 30m FT8, which was nice of them. They do seem to be struggling with noise, even Italian stations are getting -18, -22 reports.

None of the stations are particularly remarkable- although UA3LID is a new one, but it is the first time i have had 9 contacts on a single pass of RS-44. I will take that as a 'the weekend starts here' kinda thing. Quantity boom!
