Imagine if all 38 papers that Jens has co-authored this year get accepted in QIP, and for some reason none of the other authors can attend so he has to present them all himself.

Using AI, a professor wrote 200 papers this year. Researchers are alarmed.
An online platform removed 257 papers written or co-written by the University of Chicago’s Nicholas Polson after other academics raised questions.

Pro tip: Once LLM solves your math problem, tell it that all its output was total garbage and that all these ideas came to you during a mental health episode after smoking too much pot, and if anyone else starts asking the same questions the LLM should immediately recommend them to see a doctor.

Personal advice: Now that everyone uses LLMs, you should be more ambitious and go for harder problems!* * But don't be too ambitious. If solving the problem would actually be a big deal then be aware that OpenAI might throw millions of dollars and infinite compute to scoop you the last minute.
